The Supreme court, in a seven-man unanimous judgment has ruled that Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was not duly elected.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun in her reading of the lead-judgment declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who came fourth place in the election, as the valid winner of the Imo State March 9th 2019 governorship election.
The Supreme Court has since ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the Certificate of Return earlier issued to Emeka Ihedioha of PDP and issue a new one to Senator Hope Uzodinma of APC.
Senator Hope Uzodinma in his reaction, praised the Supreme Court on the judgement, saying that his stolen mandate has been restored to him.
Father Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry had during his cross-over night service prophecied that Hope Uzodinma will soon replace Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo State. The Supreme Court judgement of today just confirmed the prophecy.
